Because of some dangerous road conditions as a result of heavy rainfall and flooding Thursday, all Bladen County Schools will offer remote-only learning Friday, Nov. 13.

The school system announced the plan late Thursday night and also noted that buses will not operate the meal delivery program Friday. The meals will not be delivered nor available for pickup, according to a news release.

Students will transition to remote-only learning with their teachers for Friday instructions. Students will need to log in to their Google Classroom account and complete their class assignments, according to Bladen County Schools.

All other Bladen County Schools employees will operate on a two-hour delay, the release said. If they are not able to safely travel to their school campus or building, they should contact their immediate supervisor.
