We appreciate local Veterans Mr. Bob and Mrs. Tiina Mundy
Tiina Mundy stands with husband Bob by a Longleaf Pine tree planted at Bladen Community College in her honor. Mundy received the NC governor’s highest honor recently when she was named to the Order of the Long Leaf Pine Society.
“Thanks to everyone who helped celebrate BCC’s Arbor Day tree planting of a Longleaf Pine. I am truly humbled and honored. Thanks Kathy McGurgan for all of your hard work for our tree campus designation! You and the committee have done an outstanding job,” Mundy posted after receiving the award.
The award recognizes citizens who advocate for their communities in meaningful ways across North Carolina.
