The 28th Annual Byron Gooden/Bladen We Care Golf Tournament will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017 according to Mac Campbell, Jr., President of the committee that sponsors the fundraiser. The event will again be held at Vineyard Golf at White Lake.
The Bladen We Care Gala is planned for Friday, May 5, 2017 at Lu Mil Vineyard in Dublin.
Supporters are encouraged to add the dates to their calendar and make plans to participate.
Proceeds from the event, hundreds of thousands of dollars, are used to provide support for local residents with unforeseen medically related issues on a short term basis. In recent years, Bladen We Care expanded their efforts to include nursing scholarships for local residents at Bladen Community College and UNCP.
