The Bladen County Sheriff’s Department takes pride in reaching out to students in the county. Bladenboro Middle School allowed the local law enforcement agency to engage students with a life lesson.
The middle school has “Bulldog Academy” which allows well respected leaders come and teach students about different subject matters. In the past they have had the Mr. Tim Benton from the local school board, and the Sheriff from Columbus County.
This past week, Sgt. Turlington and Sgt. Pait from Bladen County Sheriff’s Department trains the county’s law enforcement, but this week they took the time to teach Bladenboro’s rising leaders.
The lesson the two discussed was treating others the way you would like to be treated. The also touched on making good choices for your future now.
