Bladenboro Fire Department had their Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Saturday starting at 10 am. Bladenboro Fire Chief Coleman and Mayor of Bladenboro, Rufus Duckworth welcomed the large crowd.
Chairman of the Bladen County Board of Commissioners, Charles Peterson spoke about the new facility and what the local heroes do for our community.
The Color Guard, Smokey the Bear and Miss Bladenboro also helped make the event extra special. Bladenboro Fire Department is a Volunteer Fire Department with 50 volunteers.
