TOWN OF BLADENBORO, NC (POP. APPROX. 1,648) Located in southeast NC, Bladenboro is seeking resumes from qualified candidates for the Town Administrator/Finance Officer position. This position reports to the mayor and six commissioners. Desired candidate attributes include managerial, planning, coordinating and organizational skills, outstanding communication skills and solid decision-making skills. Duties include the day-to-day oversight of governmental operations, zoning, code enforcement, budget preparation, grant writing and administration, and other duties as the governing board assigns.  Prefer applicants with a master’s Public Administration specializing in Local Government or a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business; or equivalent combination of education or experience. Compensation including benefits is commensurate with experience and determined by governing board. Benefits include 401(k), LGERS, health insurance. Position open until filled.
