The Boost the ‘Boro Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that we will be awarding THREE scholarship awards of $750 each to Bladen County applicants this spring. Two winners must be residents of the 28320 postal zone, and the third winner may be a resident of any Bladen community!
Applications have been emailed to WBHS students.
In 2021, Cara Beth Lewis was the recipient of the annual Boost the Boro Scholarship. Lewis went on to attend Paul Mitchell the School in Fayetteville, where she is pursuing a Cosmetology license. She plans to own and operate a salon in her hometown of Bladenboro in the future.
Students who are interested in applying for the 2022 scholarship should contact their guidance counselor for the application. Any other questions can be directed to boosttheboro@gmail.com.
