Bladenboro, NC – Boost the Boro, Inc. (BTB), a local non-profit organization, is already setting the stage for an unforgettable 16th annual Beast Fest. With a track record of success, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Dedicated volunteers have been hard at work, preparing to showcase a diverse range of activities and attractions that will captivate attendees of all ages.

The passionate volunteers of Boost the Boro, Inc. have demonstrated their unwavering commitment to making the Beast Fest an exceptional experience. Last week, the volunteers convened to discuss the event’s progress and continue the tradition of enhancing the festival year after year. Their collective effort symbolizes the spirit of community collaboration that Beast Fest embodies.

As preparations continue, the organization is actively seeking craft and food vendors to participate in the festival until the deadline of October 5, 2023. In addition, event and Platinum Sponsors have until September 1 to submit their sponsorship forms, allowing them to play a significant role in supporting this cherished community event. Beast Fest has evolved into one of southeastern North Carolina’s most anticipated fall festivals, captivating thousands with its dynamic mix of entertainment and activities. Last year alone, over 160 vendors converged, and more than 5,000 enthusiastic attendees flocked to join the festivities. The festival’s enduring success rests in the collective heart of the community and the dedicated volunteers who continually strive to elevate the event’s experience.

While a comprehensive program with detailed event schedules will be released later this year, BTB members have already outlined a wide array of activities for attendees to enjoy. Anticipated attractions include:

– A diverse selection of 75-100 Arts, Crafts, and Food vendors.

– A classic car show that appeals to automotive enthusiasts of all ages.

– Carnival rides that promise thrilling experiences for families and individuals.

– Horse and wagon rides that provide a charming touch to the festival atmosphere.

– A Corn-hole tournament for competitive and friendly gaming.

– The beloved children’s costume contest followed by the eagerly awaited “Trunk-or-Treat” event, expected to draw over 1,000 children.

– Live entertainment events on both Friday and Saturday nights, renowned for their ability to draw large and enthusiastic crowds.

Beast Fest 2023 is scheduled to kick off in downtown Bladenboro on Friday, October 27, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and continue on Saturday, October 28, from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. The Grand Opening Ceremony will herald the start of two eventful days filled with safe, family-oriented entertainment and activities.

As Beast Fest’s momentum continues to grow, the organizers invite community members to participate and support the festival. An upcoming clean-up day is scheduled for October 14 at 7 am as part of the community’s shared commitment to keeping the festival grounds pristine and welcoming.
