The Boost of Boro meeting Tuesday evening was well attended with 21 members according to President Don White. The group came up with ideas on making 2016 Beast Fest bigger and better than the record setting 2015 Beast Fest.
White announced the Southeastern Carolina Crossroads benefit that will be held on Saturday November 21st at the Bladenboro Historical building. Bar-B-Q tickets are being sold throughout the community for $7.00 per ticket or can be bought at the event.
Boost the Boro, Inc will be hosting with the Town of Bladenboro the Annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony on Friday night, December 4th. December 5th is also the Annual Christmas Parade in Bladenboro.
Also announced was the Bladenboro Police Department-Kids Christmas program. The police department will be shopping with the kids on December 15th, donations for the Kids Christmas may be dropped off at the Bladenboro Police Department.
