Boost the Boro’s members were notified this week that there will not be a regular full membership BTB meeting for the month of January. Board member, Don White Jr., shared “As has been custom in the past years, Boost the Boro does not usually meet as a full membership in the month of January.”

Instead of a regular meeting, the board members will review the financial reports of the previous year, 2021, and prepare a draft proposal that will be presented at the next full membership meeting in February. The draft proposal will either be amended or adopted at the February meeting.

The seven-member Boost the Boro board will meet on Tuesday, January 11th, at 6:30 pm. There will be room for social distancing. White added, “If you have concerns and would rather not attend, please respond back, since we require five board members present to make up the quorum.”

The full Boost the Boro membership will meet again, for the first time in 2022, on February 8th at 6:30 pm. A location has not yet been determined, but will be determined and shared at a later date. President Terry Nance, along with the rest of the board, requests that members prepare new ideas and plans for consideration for this year, as BTB wishes to serve Bladenboro as best as possible.

Boost the Boro always welcomes new members. If you are interested in joining the volunteer group, attend the February meeting for more information on the group and how to get involved.
