ST PAULS –St. Pauls scored 3 goals in each half and defeated West Bladen 6-0 Wednesday night in Southeastern Athletic Conference boys’ soccer action.
Senior Daniel Gustafson led the Knight defense with 6 steals, and junior Christopher Ramirez Labra followed with 5 steals. Freshman Alejandro Lopez Sandoval made 4 steals. Juniors Brady Durden, Kevyn De La Cruz Labra and Bryant Ortiz-Aguilar, senior Levi German and sophomore Dylan Hernandez were credited with 3 steals each.
Junior Cade Allen made 6 saves in goal for the Knights, and senior teammate Oswaldo Gonzalez-Lopez had 4 saves.
The Knights, now 0-7 in the SAC-6 and 4-16 overall, will host Red Springs Wednesday in their season finale.
