50xtheCashBrenda Sellers of Elizabethtown is the latest player to win $1 million playing 50X The Cash.

Sellers, an assistant customer service manager at Food Lion, bought the $10 ticket last week at the West Broad Street store when she finished her shift. She said she couldn’t believe she won.

“I started screaming, hollering, and jumping up and down,” Sellers said.

Sellers claimed her prize Tuesday. She had the choice of taking a $1 million annuity that has 20 payments of $50,000 a year or a lump sum of $600,000. Sellers chose the lump sum, and after federal and state tax withholdings received $415,503. She plans to use some of the money to go on a cruise.

50X The Cash launched in February with six top prizes of $1 million. Three top prizes remain.

Ticket sales from games like 50X The Cash made it possible for the lottery to raise more than half a billion dollars for the state last year.
