Veteran’s Day will be on Wednesday, November 11. Area banks have posted closing signs and some Bladen County departments have also made announcements for adjusted scheduled in honor of Veteran’s Day.
Brandon Smith with Bladen County Solid Wasted announced the hours of operation for Wednesday, November 11, Veteran’s Day.
He stated in a press release, “All convenience sites will be operating on their normal schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. However, the Transfer Station will be closed in observance of the holiday. Normal operations shall resume on Thursday, November 12.”
Also, all branches of the Bladen County Public Library will be closed on Wednesday, November 11 in observance of Veteran’s Day, according to a recent media announcement.
