Bladen County, North Carolina – As September 15th marks the beginning of a new calendar month, Bladen County eagerly joins the nation in honoring Hispanic Awareness Month. This month-long celebration pays homage to the remarkable tapestry of culture, contributions, and traditions woven by Hispanic and Latino communities. Running from September 15th to October 15th, this exciting event promises various captivating activities and gatherings that will foster unity and celebration throughout the county.

Hispanic Awareness Month also recognized as National Hispanic Heritage Month, serves as a poignant reminder of the profound influence Hispanic and Latino Americans have had on the history, culture, and social fabric of the United States. Bladen County, renowned for its strong sense of community, is poised to seize this opportunity to spotlight its Hispanic residents’ invaluable contributions and inspiring stories.

Bladen County’s libraries and community centers will offer Hispanic literature and history, inviting residents and visitors alike to explore the vibrant tapestry of Hispanic culture.

Local restaurants are set to tantalize taste buds with special menus highlighting authentic Hispanic, Latino, and Caribbean cuisine. It’s a delectable opportunity to savor exquisite flavors and broaden one’s culinary horizons. San Jose Restaurant, El Patron Grill, and El Torito Restaurant of Bladenboro promise exceptional choices.

Engage in meaningful conversations about the challenges and triumphs experienced by Bladen County’s Hispanic community. These dialogues aim to promote understanding and unity among all residents.
