Bladen County Schools is pleased to share that the talents of three musicians have shined above the competition to earn their spots as members of the NC Southeastern District All-District Bands, a recognition reserved for the area’s most skilled musicians.

Daniel Gustafson a student at West Bladen High School has earned his place with his incredible talent on the French horn. From Elizabethtown Middle School, two students have showcased their exceptional musical abilities—Aaliyah Wright on the clarinet, and Arryhanna Pinckney on the trombone.

Daniel, Aaliyah, and Arryhanna will be rehearsing this Friday and Saturday at Corinth Holders High School, preparing for a concert Saturday afternoon (January 27) that will showcase the result of their hard work and dedication. Their selection for the All-District Bands is not just an individual achievement; it is a reflection of the strong music programs in our schools and the support of band directors that foster young talent.
