A church van crashed on NC 87 near East Arcadia School about 10:30 a.m.
Bladen County Emergency Management Director Bradley Kinlaw said that officials are unsure why the van crashed.
Kinlaw said the van was transporting some students from a school near Fayetteville on a field trip to the Battleship USS North Carolina in Wilmington when the crash occurred.
He said eight students and one adult were transported to Cape Fear Valley-Bladen Healthcare with minor injuries.
