Many churches in the area are celebrating Thanksgiving with the communities they serve. Some have been delivering meals early and some will be providing meals on Thursday.

White Lake Christian Camp & Retreat Center held a free Thanksgiving Dinner on Wednesday evening. The meal is the second annual White Lake Thanksgiving Community Dinner open and free to the public.

Vertical Church: Bladen is new in Bladen County. Pastor Brandon Meadow and other church members handed out boxes of complete Thanksgiving feast meals donated by Moutianaire to the community on Saturday and Sunday.

Open Door Ministries continues their tradition of preparing and offering a homemade dinner for all community members with the assistance of other churches. The ministry also offers delivery services to the homebound if needed.

Clarkton United Methodist Church also has a meal they offer to the public they call God’s Bounty. Their meal is also offered to the public.
