Clarkton School of Discovery (CSD) has once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence and leadership, achieving remarkable success at the 2024 Junior Beta Club State Convention in Greensboro, North Carolina. The convention provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and dedication, resulting in a multitude of awards and recognitions for CSD.
Leadership at the Helm
CSD continued its tradition of leadership within the North Carolina State Junior Beta Club with the election of Miguel Ventura as the newly appointed 2024 Vice-President. This accomplishment reflects the commitment of CSD students to take on roles of responsibility and uphold the values of the Beta Club.
A Farewell to Quadir Brown
As the 2023 Vice President, Quadir Brown delivered a heartfelt Farewell Speech, leaving a lasting impact on the convention and the club as a whole. His dedication and leadership were evident throughout his tenure, and his speech was a fitting farewell to his role.

– 5th Place in Junior Three Dimensional Design
– 3rd Place in 8th Grade Spanish for Marco Antonio Zarate
– 5th Place in Songfest Junior

– 3rd Place in 5th Grade Science for Shamiha Daughtry
