The National Weather Service in Wilmington has shared a report indicating a cool and sunny weekend. Today’s showers are expected to clear up and reveal sunny skies for the remainder of the weekend, with temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 50s tomorrow and Sunday.

According to NWS, isolated wind gusts at 25 miles per hour are possible later this evening. While this weekend will be cool and sunny, next week is predicted to bring warmer temperatures and precipitation.

No significant weather impacts are likely to occur beyond today’s wind gusts. Today’s highest temperatures will linger in the 70s, before cooling off tomorrow with high temperatures in the low-60s. On Sunday, the morning low will be in the low-30s, and high will be in the upper 50s.
