BLADEN COUNTY – As part of Governor Cooper’s Safer at Home Phase 2 reopening, Bladen County will reopen County offices, including the library, on Monday, June 15. The Senior Center will remain closed to the public until more guidance is received from the State.

“I want to thank our dedicated county staff for their efforts in continuing to provide residents with essential services during these unusual circumstances. As we reopen offices to the public, please know that safety measures are being implemented to protect customers and staff from the spread of COVID-19,” said Bladen County Board of Commissioners Chairman Ray Britt. “Fortunately, the measures our residents have taken so far have been effective in limiting the impact of COVID-19 in our community. As we increase our activity and interaction, it’s important that we make use of recommended protective measures, such as wearing a face-covering in public, in order to continue moving forward toward phase three of reopening.”

Most county businesses and services can continue to be conducted by phone or online. Residents are encouraged to continue accessing services remotely and limiting visits to county facilities for essential reasons.
