WHITEVILLE — Bobby Davis and William McMillan won the Land ‘O Lakes Golf Club Member-Guest tournament over the weekend.
The winning pair shot 7-under par 65 Saturday in the Best Ball format then combined for an 11-under 61 Sunday in the Texas Scramble format for a two-round 18-under score.
Second place went to the team of Edwin Skipper and Joey Stephenson, who finished at 14-under which included 11-under Sunday.
First flight winners, at 5-under, was Tony Walters and Dickie Walters. The team of C.L. Gore and Jerry Gore won the second flight at 2-under.
Closet to the pin winners Saturday were Billy Storms on No. 9 and Bill Edwards on No. 18. Sunday’s closet to the pin winners were Joey Stephenson on No.9 and Wilber Simmons on No. 18.
