LUMBERTON – Allison Hickman pitched a 1-hit shutout and struck out 11 batters to lead Bladenboro to a 10-0 Dixie Belles Softball victory over Lumberton Thursday night.

Bladenboro remained unbeaten with a 7-0 record and will travel to Leland Sunday to play the West Lady Cardinals at 2 p.m. followed by a game against the South Lady Sharks.

Bladenboro grabbed the early lead with a 6-run 1st inning. Hickman raked a lead-off single to left field, and Maycee Kinlaw swatted a single to right. Addison Wilcox walloped a triple to left that scored Hickman and Kinlaw.

Brenna Hester knocked in Wilcox with a single, and Hadley Dove, Adyson Carroll and Chloe Walters drew walks that forced home Hester. Dove and Carroll dashed home on a passed ball to stretch the lead to 6-0.

Hickman laced a single to left, and Wilcox reached base on a passed 3rd strike to start the 2nd inning. Hester walked, and Dove smacked a single that scored Hickman and Wilcox. Hester raced home on a passed ball to pad the lead to 9-0.

Kristen Singletary yanked a single past short to begin the 3rd inning, and Alyssia Singletary walked. Kristen Singletary came around to score on a pair of passed balls.

Hickman batted 2-for-3 and scored twice. Wilcox smashed the 2-run triple and scored twice. Kinlaw, Hester, Dove and Kristen Singletary added 1 hit each. Dove had 2 runs batted in, and Hester and Walters drove in runs. Hester scored twice, and Kinlaw, Dove, Carroll and Kristen Singletary scored 1 run each.
