LUMBERTON – Maycee Kinlaw pitched a 1-hitter and struck out 6 batters to lead Bladenboro to an 11-1 victory over Lumberton Tuesday night in the final game of their Dixie Belles softball regular season. Bladenboro finished play with a perfect 11-0 record.

Kinlaw reached on a 3-base error in the 1st inning then darted home on a passed ball for a 1-0 Bladenboro lead. Adyson Carroll walked, stole 2 bases and dashed home on a passed ball with a 2nd inning Bladenboro run.

Haili Andrews reached base on an error in the Bladenboro 3rd inning. Allison Hickman walloped a triple that scored Andrews, and Kinlaw drilled an inside-the-park home run to left that scored Hickman and stretched the lead to 5-1.

Brenna Hester reached base on an error in the Bladenboro 4th inning, and Carroll lined a single to left. Bristol Allen knocked in Hester and Carroll with a single to right that stretched the lead to 7-1.

Addison Wilcox pounded a double to center field to start the Bladenboro 6th inning. Hester raked a single to the left side. Wilcox scooted home on Hadley Dove’s fielder’s choice. Carroll smoked a single through the middle that plated Hester. Chloe Walters walked, and Allen reached base on an error that scored Carroll. Chloe Walters scored on another error to push the lead to 11-1.

Carroll batted 2-for-2 with a run batted in and 3 runs scored. Kinlaw slugged the 2-run homer and scored twice. Hickman tripled, had an RBI and scored a run. Wilcox doubled and scored a run. Hester, Dove and Allen collected 1 hit each. Allen had 2 RBIs, and Dove had 1 RBI. Hester scored 2 runs. Chloe Walters and Andrews scored 1 run each.
