Valerie Newton with Bladen County School announced on Thursday evening, “Due to a significant increase in the number of COVID-19 cases and close contact cases in Dublin Primary School, public health officials and the superintendent are recommending that the school close for in-person learning starting November 12.
To ensure the health and safety of our students and staff, Dublin Primary School will be closed for a minimum of two weeks, and children and staff should stay home. We anticipate the school reopening on November 30.”
She added, “During this time, students and teachers will transition to remote-only teaching and learning until further notice. We will be in regular communication with our families during this closure and will continue to update our website and social media sites with the latest information. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school office.”
