TABOR CITY – Bladen County scored 5 runs in the 1st inning and added 7 runs in the final 2 innings to defeat Columbus County 13-3 in the Diamond Youth Baseball District 2 AA (Coach Pitch) Supplemental Tournament.
Bladen County advances to play the Elizabethtown/Whiteville winner Saturday at 2 p.m.
For Bladen County: Jensen Burney batted 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored; Gus Bordeaux batted 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored; Ny Pryor batted 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored; Drake Washington batted 2-for-3 with a run scored; Greyson Carver batted 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored.
Other Bladen hitters included: BayLyn Brisson batted 3-for-3 with a double and 3 runs scored; Jyheem McRae singled and scored a run; Coy Wilkins batted 2-for-2; Steven Wilkins singled; Jojo Adams singled and scored a run.
