East Bladen’s Lady Eagles are ranked No. 8 in NC preps.com’s latest Class 2A State Basketball poll.
Coach Patty Evers’ team sports a 15-1 record and leads the Three Rivers Conference by 2 games with a 10-1 record. The Lady Eagles currently own an 11-game winning streak.
The Lady Eagles are currently projected to be the No. 2 seed in the Class 2A East Play-offs by Nick Stevens’ High School OT.com. Other area teams projected to be seeded in the 2A play-offs include: No. 6 Midway, No. 27 Whiteville, and No. 15 Red Springs.
The other projected top seeds are No. 1 Kinston, No. 3 Croatan and No. 4 Pasquotank County.
