Last week the hot chocolate recipe was a success. Nicole and Charlotte decided to try another recipe for the sweet tooth this week. Edible cookie dough treats are simple to make and can be a holiday gift or enjoyed as a dessert.

The recipe originated from Eating on a Dime and yields about 16 cookie dough treats. Watch Nicole and Charlotte make this recipe now by clicking on the video link below.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated flour is best to use for this recipe)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 Tsp milk (may need more when making)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

First, mix or beat together the butter, sugars, and vanilla.

Next, by hand, stir in the flour and milk.

Then, add in the chocolate chips.

Scoop out cookie treats and place them on a platter.

Chill the bite-size goodies and then serve. Make sure the cookie dough treats are not frozen when served.

Enjoy!
