The Bladen County Emergency Operations Center has been busy Hurricane Florence unleashed her wrath on Bladen County.  During an emergency, the Emergency Operations Center is a hub of activity. They have been busy since Thursday coordinating rescue efforts, monitoring flooding on the Cape Fear River, and evacuating residents to safety.

The County has also been hosting several Strike Teams who are assisting with rescues not only in Bladen County but in other locations as well.

Relief supplies are also expected to begin arriving in the county. If you would like to donate supplies, contact Kelly Robeson as 910-549-4735. To make a financial contribution, makes checks payable to Bladen Crisis Assistance, and in the memor line write “Hurricane Florence” and mail to P. O. Box 405, Elizabethtown, NC 28337.
