Bladen County Environmental Health would like to remind everyone to “Tip and Toss” all items in your yard that can hold water in order to help control mosquitoes that come out during the day.
*Beekeepers will need to call Environmental Health with the location of their beehives at 910-862-6852.
Mosquito dunks are available to be picked up, 1 pack per address will be available at the front desk at: Bladen County Health Department, located at 300 Mercer Mill Road, Elizabethtown, NC. Call: 872-6209 for questions or more information.
*Please note that a plan for Mosquito spraying for Bladen County is being coordinated at this time.
The Bladen County Environmental Health would like to encourage all individuals who have wells that were submerged during Hurricane Florence, and would like a sample to be taken, to come in and complete an application.
The water sample fee will be waived as a result of the hurricane.
