Tomorrow (Friday, Nov. 3) the Bladen County United Way will be conducting their annual Day of Caring. This event will begin at 8:30 a.m. in Elizabethtown at the Cape Fear Farmers Market. On Saturday, an All-You-Can-Eat Pancake and Sausage Breakfast from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. will take place at the White Oak Fire Department. The event will be taking place at the station itself and there is no charge to join.
Saturday evening, a Turkey Shoot is planned to take place behind the Elizabethtown Baptist Church Christian Activities Center. This event will also be held on November 11th and the 18th. All three events will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Activities Center. Each round for a turkey will be $5 and $10 for a ham. Soup with bread and crackers will be available along with a drink for $5.
