Former Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Robert Earl Leggett of
Bladenboro passed away on November 10, 2019. Leggett served for 25
years with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy and Detention
Officer.
On November 20, 2019, Sheriff Jim McVicker had a flag flown over the
Bladen County Sheriff’s Office in his honor. Shown below Sheriff
McVicker presents the flag and a certificate to Leggett’s wife Joanie,
certifiying the flag was flown over the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office in
honor of Leggett’s 25 years of service to the sheriff’s office.
