The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission announced all Medicaid and/or Food Stamp recipients, can receive free fishing license by having the fee waived. Local licenses for people on government assistance may be obtained at the Bladen County Health & Human Services Agency, located at 300 Mercer Mill Road in Elizabethtown.
The local agency said in a public post announcement, “Provide your State ID and our staff will help you.”
All other residents not receiving government assistance may contact the NC Wildlife Office Customer Service Center at 1-888-248-6834 if you have questions about getting the fee waived for people who do not receive Medicaid and/or Food Stamp benefits.
