DUBLIN – Purnell Swett defeated West Bladen 5-1 Thursday in non-conference girls soccer action. The match was halted at halftime due to the field conditions.
Senior Melennie Hernandez fired in the lone West Bladen goal on a penalty kick. Sophmore Alyssa Smith had several saves in goal for the Lady Knights.
Smith was credited with 18 saves in Wednesday night’s game against Wallace-Rose Hill instead of the ten that had been previously reported.
The Lady Knights will host Pender Monday at 6 p.m. in a non-conference match.
