Harmony HallWHITE OAK – A busy afternoon is planned for Sunday, Nov. 12, at the Harmony Hall Plantation Village, Inc.

The day will kick off with a Bible Study in the Harmony Hall Chapel from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. This is a non-denominational service and all are welcome.

Meanwhile at Harmony Hall, Sydney Wheeler will be on site to demonstrate the making of tapestry on her Inkle Loom.  This is an interesting process and you are invited to visit the plantation and see a finished product.

Also, Judy Elkins will be demonstrating the making of colonial and corn shuck dolls.  She is extremely talented in this area and enjoys sharing her expertise with everyone.

Volunteers will also be available to share information and guide visitors on tours through the buildings and grounds.  Visitors can also take a stroll to the Cape Fear River.

The General Store is open each Sunday.  You’ll be surprised at the items available.  It is not too early to shop for Christmas.

Seth Lewis will be glad to assist brides in making plans for their wedding at Harmony Hall.  His number is 910.770.3132.  Field Marshal Bobby Lewis may be contacted for other information by calling 910.874.4011.

Admission is free and donations are welcome. Harmony Hall is 501(c)3 tax entity. Make your donation payable to Harmony Hall Plantation and mail to Tony Parnell, Treasurer, at P. O. Box 422, Dublin,  N.C.  28332.
