HCA varsity girls lead at halftime Thursday evening by a score of 15-8 over Cape Fear Academy and held on to win 47-46.
Margaret Clark scored 23 points to pace the winners. She also had 2 rebounds, had 5 steals, 4 assists and blocked 2 shots.
Emily Benton scored 12 for the Crusaders, and captured 9 rebounds.
