The North Carolina Highway Patrol will be increasing its patrols over the Thanksgiving weekend.
The Highway Patrol will be teaming up with local law enforcement agencies in the NC Interstate Challenge Campaign. The campaign is an effort to reduce the number of traffic fatalities on the state’s highways during the holiday weekend.
According to a release, the troopers will be beefing up patrols along I-95, I-40, I-26, I-74, I-73, I-77, and I-85.
