Dublin, North Carolina – The Homestead Christian School (HCS) has unleashed a wave of exciting news as it throws open its doors to welcome new students into its dedicated fold.

Nestled at the heart of 34th Third Street, Dublin, North Carolina, this educational beacon is ready to continue the journey of knowledge and growth. The anticipation is obvious as the school proudly announces that applications are now open for the upcoming academic year. But, that’s not all – Mrs. Peggy Hester, Administrator of HCS, and Mrs. Ivey King, President of the School Board, announced the school has expanded.

The HCS has officially added more classrooms and outdoor facilities.

“We’ve more than doubled our capacity inside and outside, so it has worked out for us perfectly,” Mrs. King said enthusiastically.

Mrs. Hester expanded on Mrs. King’s comment saying, “With more space, we can offer more educational opportunities.”

“There is a covered play area outside now and plenty of grassy areas for children to run and play and stretch their legs,” Mrs. Ivey added.

The two HCA representatives explained the curriculum for the students at their school. They offer a Christian education with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), and they offer an Agriculture aspect to learning as well. It’s not just an education; it’s an adventure!

Mrs. Hester explained at HCS it’s not just about textbooks; it’s about igniting curiosity through the Abeka curriculum, “one of the most popular curricula in America.”

Mrs. Hester and Mrs. Ivey also explained that the students get to roll up their sleeves because the school offers many hands-on activities and classroom education.

Homestead Christian School is enrolling Kindergarten through twelfth-grade students for the 2023-2024 school year. The excitement is already rippling through the air, with 21 students already registered for the new school year.

Mark your calendars, because the first day of classes is set for September 5, 2023, the Tuesday after Labor Day.
