Elizabethtown – Juneteenth Celebrations will be held June 19, 2021 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm in the open area across from 807 Martin Luther King Drive, Elizabethtown NC (which is directly in front of Mt. Zion AMEZ Church). There will be music, bouncy houses for the children, free food, and cold drinks.
Guest speakers are pastors Dr. Rev. Louie Boykin; Baldwin Branch MBC, Rev. Corey Lyons; First Baptist MBC and Rev. Maria Lacewell; Mt. Zion AMEZ Church. A “no appointment required” COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be held in the Mt. Zion Church Fellowship Hall which is sponsored by the Bladen County Health Department.
