CLINTON – Clinton’s jayvees built a 6-0 halftime lead enroute to a 9-0 Southeastern Athletic Conference jayvee boys’ soccer victory over West Bladen Wednesday.
Sophomore Jennsen Santana Martinez and John Randy Reyes-Garcia led the Knight defense with 5 steals each. Sophomore Michael Reyes Maldonado followed with 4 steals, and Carlos Gonzalez Flores had 3 steals.
Freshman Amine Mahdi racked up 11 saves in goal for the Knights, and freshman Noah German finished with 2 saves.
The Knights, now 1-4 in league play and 3-9-1 overall, will host Midway Monday night.
