Bladen County Emergency Operations Center released the following statement, “We have been advised by technical specialists that there is high probability that Kelly will flood at critical water levels. For those who can safely move to the Kelly Post Office, please do so immediately. If you are unable to safely move out of your location, call 911 and assistance will be provided.”
They continued, “This may be the last opportunity to safely evacuate as roads are becoming impassible and will continue to worsen. We strongly urge you to evacuate as soon as possible.”
