Spread the love

During this time of social distancing it’s difficult to encourage people to eat out, especially since so many eateries are closed right now, but that doesn’t diminish the importance of the work that is done by the Bladen County Health Department. As March began, they were on duty for business as usual and went about making the sanitation inspections that keep you informed.

The list for March is short because of the shelter-in-place order for our state, but its important, nonetheless. As many of us cook at home, we may daydream about our favorite savory dish at our local dining spot. It has even been suggested that those who can, should buy gift certificates to use later as a way to support local businesses now. Of course the current circumstances are difficult to endure, for us all, but thinking of others is a step in the right direction. We have seen in the past what can happen when Americans stand together in a united purpose. We will get through this crisis together too.

So check out the list to see who was inspected in March. Maybe when the crisis has passed we can meet for lunch. Bon Appitité.
