Spread the love

Happy New Year, Bladen County, and may 2022 bring you many blessings and joys. Here’s hoping it will be a double-digit year for growth and opportunities for everyone. I’m grateful to see the new year come and I want to be a part of it.

Let’s also remember to thank our friends over at the Health Department for all of their great work. As you know, each month they inspect our local restaurants, eateries, kitchens, cafeterias, cafes, child-cares, nursing homes, and even food stands for sanitation and safe conditions of the food supply. As usual, the school systems in Bladen County really shine, in more ways than one. It’s good to live in a community where so many work so hard to make things nice for others.

If you are like me, you may be carrying an extra pound or two around with you. I just call it my new winter coat. I’ll admit that I didn’t eat out much in December but when I did, it was good. Check out the list below to see the establishments which were inspected in December, and as always, Bon Appetite!
