A Most Marvelous March to you, Bladen County. We’ve all heard those old weather adages like: (1) March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb, or (2) The number of foggy mornings in August is equal to the number of snows the winter will bring. Southern states, these days, often have foggy August mornings and zero snows in the following winter. As I recall, Groundhog’s Day was overcast and cloudy this year. So, join me in welcoming an early Spring season. I saw a bumblebee out looking for food last week, here’s hoping the lovely first flowers of Spring will be here soon.
Our friends at the Bladen County Health Department performed many sanitation inspections, in February, of our local fast-food restaurants, sit down restaurants, bakeries, grills, caterers, cafeterias, meat markets and Care Facilities. As usual, our public food supply is in good shape in Bladen County, from Kelly to Riegelwood. Check out the list below to see the results of the February inspections. Wherever and whatever you decide to eat, enjoy!
