Spread the love

warm-pet-home-for-winterThere is a new way to keep cats warm this winter. The Bladen County non-profit, A Shelter Friend, posted a cat home repurposing idea on their social media account.

The idea is to take 30 gallon totes with the tops, cut a hole big enough for cats to enter and exit, then wrap the hole with duct tape to smooth the edges out. The end result of the project leaves you with a new home that may fit up to three cats according to the non-profit founder, Sylvia Kim.

The animal loving non-profit is asking for help. If you would like to donate totes, duct tape or labor to make the new homes, you may contact Sylvia at 910-876-0539 or email bladenpets@yahoo.com. If you would like to give a monetary donation visit www.ashelterfriend.org
