Majestic Funeral Home held Family Appreciation Day on Saturday with music, food, and games. Members of the staff were also on hand to offer guided tours of the funeral home to those who stopped in.
Lisa Autry came to the funeral home and enjoyed the day. She said, “I saw a billboard on my way to work plus I had been here for my sister-in-law’s funeral.”
Autry said after seeing the billboard she decided she would come out and support the event.
In addition to good food, there were games, face painting, and inflatables for the kids to enjoy. Children delighted in the slide and jumping in the Bounce House. There was also a game of corn hole for those who wanted to try their skills.
There were also drawings and give aways throughout the day.
Terri Johnson Matthews said of the day that it was a good day.
Eric Matthews said, “I think we had a real good turn out. We appreciate the support we’ve had from the community.”
