Elizabethtown 4, Bladenboro 3
Kenia Medina-Leal and Katlynn Tatum scored 2 goals each to lead Elizabethtown to a 4-3 Bladen Five Middle School girls soccer victory over Bladenboro Wednesday night at County Park.
Lainey Autry fired in the first Bladenboro goal, and after the Lady Cougars built a 3-1 lead, Ocean Woody knocked in 2 more goals as the Lady Bulldogs pulled to within one goal of the lead.
“The game was hard fought and both teams played very well,” said Elizabethtown Coach Tripp Lancaster. “Bladenboro is very well coached, and it is always fun to play them. They have a good group of kids.”
The Lady Cougars evened their record at 2-2. Bladenboro is now 1-3.
