Elizabethtown won a penalty kick shoot-out 3-0 Tuesday night to claim a 2-1 victory over Bladenboro in Bladen Five Middle School Conference Soccer action at County Park.
The score was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation. Wilmer Garcia converted an assist from Logan West into the lone Bladenboro goal during regulation play.
Milton Estrada fired in the lone goal for Elizabethtown during regulation play.
Cougar goalkeeper Jordan Robinson stopped all 3 Bladenboro shots during the shoot-out.
Estrada and teammates Leonardo Vazquez and Humberto Valadez all drilled in their penalty kick shots during the shoot-out to clinch the victory for Elizabethtown.
Bladenboro is now 1-2 in Bladen Five play, while Elizabethtown improved to 1-1. Elizabethtown will play Clarkton School of Discovery at 5 p.m. Wednesday, while Bladenboro has an open date.
