Mr. Bill Storms’ 101st birthday was celebrated with a Drive-by Parade on Storms Road in Bladenboro on Tuesday evening. Although the rain poured numerous people drove by Storms’ home to show him love and appreciation.
Bladenboro Police Department, Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, Bladen County EMS, Bladenboro Fire Department, family, and friends all rode by with sounds of joy and decorated vehicles to celebrate the big milestone. Mr. Storms is a lifelong Bladen County resident and farmer.
He has four children and numerous grandchildren and is a beloved member of his community, according to those in attendance.
