Nyiesha Kierra Murchsion has been named to the University of North Carolina at Pembroke’s Honors List for Spring 2016. To qualify for this honor, a student must attain a semester grade point average of 3.2 or higher while passing at least 12 semester hours of course work.
Murchison graduated in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Medicine and plans to pursue her Master’s degree in the same field. She is the daughter of Casandra and Willie Murchison and is a graduate of East Bladen High School.
