The NC Department of Transportation has announced the following road openings/closings for the coming week.
OPENINGS:
Sassafras Road is now open and all work is completed.
CLOSINGS:
NC DOT has begun replacing two crossline pipes on NC 131 between J. A. Carroll Road and NC 410 near Guyton Road. Because there is no reasonable detour, this work will be performed under traffic; however, expect delays through the area as we will have a lane closed continuously under flagger operation.
ELWELL FERRY:
Elwell Ferry is operating again this morning.
